KEY FEATURES

Screw-lock mechanism

・Significantly reduces the risk of separation between the ken and sarado during play.

    ・Allows adjustable weight balance between the ken tip and the base cup.

    ・Enables fine adjustment of the ken tip length (within ±3mm).

    ・Helps reduce wear on the ken caused by the string.

    ・Parts can be swapped between LEAD units.

    ②Rounded Finish of the Tama Hole Surface (Modified Double Angle Edge, Released in 2016)

    ・A natural fit that could not be achieved with a brand-new kendama.

    ・Provides high stability in balancing techniques using the edge of the tama.

    ・The rounded shape helps reduce damage to the ken and sarado.

    ・High-grip coating applied to the inside for improved grip.

    ③Dual Angle Chamfer on the Edge of the Sarado

     ・A high level of fit with the tama that could not be achieved with a brand-new ken.

    ・By thickening the edge, durability and weight are improved, while the chamfered finish maintains a clean and refined look.

    VARIATION

    Silver Gray

    ・The 4-hole structure of the base cup balances lightweight design, optimized center of gravity, and durability.

    ・The ken length is adjusted to 164mm for a comfortable fit in the hand.

    ・The weight reduced by carving an arch from the slip grip on the base cup.

    ・The height difference with the slip grip surface enhances grip for flips and juggles.

    ・The contact surface between the tama and the sarado is adjusted with 0.1mm precision to produce a clear, high-pitched tone.

    Shadow Gray

    ・Designed with a 3-hole structure to shift the center of gravity closer to the center of the ken.

    ・The total length of 165mm optimizes rebound for tricks like taps.

    ・Strength is enhanced by tapering the shape from the slip grip to the base cup.

    ・the contact surfaces between the tama and the sarado is adjusted with 0.1mm precision to produce a pleasant resonance in the mid-to-high frequency range. The tone changes subtly depending on where the tama hits the base cup.

    Charcoal Gray

    ・The shallow circular hole in the base cup shifts the center of gravity closer to the cup, providing stable acoustics and response during taps.

    ・With an overall length of 166mm, it enhances centrifugal force, making it easier to perform windmills and flips.

    ・The sarado features a wider arch shape, making it easier to handle for players with thicker fingers.

    ・The contact surface between the tama and the sarado is adjusted with 0.1mm precision, producing a pleasantly resonant tone wth a slightly lower pitch.

    OTHER FEATURES

    ・Based on a traditional kendama shape, meticulously designed with attention to every detail.

    ・Attention is also given to the finish of the string hole and the beauty of the wood grain.

    ・Made with a combination of ash and maple wood for increased durability and a heavier feel.

    ・The weight balance between the tama and sarado is carefully adjusted to achieve the ideal playability.

    ・A line is added to the big cup area to improve visibility.

    ・The size of the sarado is increased overall to support stability during tricks.

    ・The string length is also carefully considered, and a combination of beads and washers is used to reduce twisting of the string.

    ・The packaging design is also distinctive, featuring high-grade suede cloth for a luxurious finish.
