Patented Replaceable Tip Technology

MUGEN MUSOU's replaceable tip technology is an innovative system developed in-house and protected by patent.

Traditionally, the lifespan of a kendama has been determined by the lifespan of its spike. Once the spike became worn or damaged, the only solution was sanding, making it difficult to maintain the original shape and performance of the kendama.

Some players used adhesives or hardening agents to protect the spike from wear. However, an overly hardened spike can cause excessive damage to the tama, leading to scratches and reduced durability.

Extend the Life of Your Kendama

By making the spike replaceable, only the worn tip needs to be replaced rather than the entire ken.

This innovative design allows the kendama to last more than three times longer than conventional models.

Instead of replacing the entire kendama, players can simply install a new tip and continue enjoying optimal performance.

Custom Resin Material Developed Specifically for Kendama

The tip material was developed through extensive testing to solve a common challenge:

• If the material is too hard, it damages the tama.
• If it is too soft, the tama rebounds too easily and reduces control.

To achieve the ideal balance, MUGEN MUSOU developed a proprietary resin blend using ABS and PP materials.

This custom material provides excellent durability while maintaining the optimal feel and performance required for kendama play.

The result is a spike that minimizes damage to both the ken and the tama while supporting consistent, high-level performance.

Easy Replacement with the Included Tool

The included black component functions as a dedicated tool for removing and installing the spike tip.

No special tools are required, making replacement quick and simple.
